We are a newly formed music appreciation group, currently planning to meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. At each meeting it is envisaged that the host will present a programme of recorded music for the group to listen to and, if they wish, comment on. Initially the group co-ordinator will host, but others may wish to do so at a later stage, and there may be some sessions where group members are invited to bring their own choice of music. Although much of the music we listen to may be classical, there are no constraints on the genres of music to be programmed, and members will be encouraged to share their enthusiasms, be it Mongolian throat singing or heavy metal!
