Italian intermediate

Status:Active, open to new members
Coordinator:
When: on Monday mornings
starts at 10:45am
Venue: Online

The Italian intermediate group meets for an hour starting at 10.45 on Monday mornings. The group was originally aimed at beginners who had always wanted to learn this lovely language but had never quite got round to it. But having gone up to weekly zoom sessions during lockdown and made great progress, we have decided to stay online for the time being with other in person related activities being added in. So if you would like to chat more on an Italian holiday, impress the waiters at the local Italian or gain an appreciation of la dolce vita, this could be for you. We are happy to welcome any newcomers (from near or afar as we are still on zoom). This class is not suitable for complete beginners now but if you are a good linguist, have some knowledge of a language such as French or Spanish and are prepared to do lots of catch up revision, it might be worth giving it a try!

Caroline Harmer taught Italian evening classes for many years and is enjoying sharing her expertise with U3A members. Sessions are lively with the emphasis on having fun while we learn. For more details contact Caroline using the email link above.
