One of two small groups meeting once a month to enjoy each other’s company, share ideas and learn new techniques.  We hand sew at meetings and either hand or machine sew in our own homes.

The popularity of patchwork and quilting has grown enormously over the last few years, with equipment, fabrics and shops catering specifically for us.  There are also local, national and international shows held annually.

The most popular fabric to use is 100% cotton, either new or recycled from discarded clothing.  We are well known for cutting up perfectly good fabric just to sew two pieces back together again!
