This group is complementary to, but different from, our Current Affairs Group.  A member volunteers in advance to lead on a subject - maybe a social issue, maybe a cultural, philosophical, humorous or other subject.   We can discuss anything you like! The volunteer introduces the item, speaking for no more than ten minutes, and then it will be opened out to the group for more in-depth exploration and discussion.  This approach can be adapted as the group develops according to members’ wishes.
